Final London Result

Sorry for the delayed update. I spent yesterday in Boulder finishing with the Great Big Sea concert at the Boulder Theater. Great time and I was tempted to buy tickets for tonight's show.

The Rapids finished their London trip with a match against San Jose at Tottenham Hotspur's training grounds. The Earthquakes have a partner arrangement with Tottenham similar to the Rapids' relationship with Arsenal. Unfortunately the Rapids were beaten 2-0. The starting lineup:

Pickens
Kimura - Moor - Baudet - Travner
Thompson - Mastroeni - LaBrocca - Earls
Casey - Cummings

Subs used: Valentino, Murillo, Holody, Clark, Larentowicz, Noonan, Lorei, Akpan, O'Brien

I think the starting 11 is once again fairly clear form this lineup. There may be a question mark at left back between Earls and Travner and Larentowicz's and Clark's health is still up in the air. Other than that I think the rest of the lineup is fairly set.

One concern is that the Rapids have played 5 preseason matches and have been outscored 2-5. They got a PK against Columbus and a goal against the Arsenal Reserves when Cummings; cross took a lucky deflection to Casey's feet. On the bright side the Rapids only had Casey for two of those matches. Still our lack of offense when Clark is missing is very concerning.
